Sleepless in Seattle (part 4)
(posted by Emily) Sunday 12 October 2014 After our visit to Chihuly, we decided to head downtown toward the stadiums. The Seahawks had a game that day, and we wanted to see if the fans are really that loud . Along the way, we came upon an Indigenous People's Day demonstration, complete with drums, signs, chanting, and reporters checking out the action. they blocked the intersection, and cars couldn't move in any direction gotta snap a good pic We walked down to CenturyLink Field and yes...it really is that loud. We just stood outside for a few moments in awe of the noise. Around the front of the stadium, there activities for fans and families--including an appearance by Lil Sebastian :) you're 5,000 candles in the wind We wandered through the nearby neighborhoods in search of somewhere to grab a beer and watch the game.
